All of the leather travel journals are “Cruelty-Free”, which means the leather is obtained from naturally dead animals. All of the paper is handmade cotton rag paper, making them 100% "Tree-Free". The artisans collect cotton waste and turn it into a pulp. The final result: a rich texture paper, great for writing, drawing and painting. It makes for a great gift for any occasion!
Wasim was born and raised in Sanganer village, in west Rajasthan, India. His family has been in the paper making industry for over 80 years, and he inherited the art from his elders. Made from recycled cotton rags, the raw paper is then converted into beautiful products such as journals, albums and other types of social stationery without the aid of heavy machinery.
