This beautiful African hamper is irresistible whether it's doing it's job as a laundry hamper, used as a storage container or just standing as a design piece. Crafted by a network of more than 100 rural Wolof woman, this laundry hamper provides critical fair trade income for women who face difficulty finding individuals to purchase their baskets locally.
Available in 3 sizes. The largest size hamper is ample enough to hold more than a washer's load of laundry. The medium size holds a washer's load perfectly, and the small hamper works great holding socks and undergarments.

This item is fairly made in Africa. It has made its way here today thanks to the hard work of Leslie Mittelberg building a network of artisans across Africa. Each artisan is able to work from the comfort of their own home and community. The fair payment they receive will not be reduced by traveling expenses, childcare costs or haggled prices. The artisans use their earnings to put food on the table and pay educational expenses for their children.
