Fair Trade Handmade Women's Embroidered Wool Belt - Medium
This embroidered belt is handmade by women's cooperatives in rural areas of Peru. All of the work is done fairly and the artisans are paid a living wage. Most of the artisans sew in their homes or at a communal studio workshop.
Each belt is a one-of-a-kind work of beautiful craftsmanship using a contemporary take on traditional Andean techniques.
We will choose a belt for you from our array of inventory (no two belts are the same)

medium fits 28"- 37" measured buckle to first and last holes, respectively
The women who embroider these belts have exceptional skills, and have very few options for other work. They are often victims of domestic violence, but despite their situations, they have organized into cooperatives and are able to produce work of astonishing beauty.
