This sweet doll is entirely hand sewn by fair trade artisans in Haryana, India. It's based on the traditional quilter's craft of making "yoyos" from scrap fabric.
The women who create these dolls have exceptional skills, and have very few options for other work. They are often the sole support for their families. Thanks to their fair trade endeavor, these women have been able to earn a consistent living wage.
