Oh, the cuteness... This sweet doll is hand sewn with great care by fair trade artisans in Bolivia. Starting at the turn of the last century, quilters used their leftover fabrics to make these "yoyo" dolls.
The women who create these dolls have exceptional skills, and have very few options for other work. They are often the sole support for their families. Thanks to their fair trade endeavor, these women have been able to earn a consistent living wage.
