An essential multipurpose storage container with a collapsible top half for a more compact form and easy stacking.

Belly baskets traditionally have been used to carry rice from the field to market. Handmade by village artisans in the community center and in their homes.

Handcrafted in villages of Northern Vietnam allowing income into rural communities where employment opportunity is minimal. Our artisans can work full-time and part-time while stimulating economic growth and promoting their traditional craft.


Our products will have slight variations in design and size, this is a natural occurrence in handmade goods and one of the many reasons we love them so.

No two designs will be exactly alike, giving you a lasting one-of-a-kind product to treasure for years to come.

    The Belly Basket(s) Of My Dreams!

    I'd almost given up hope of finding a luxe looking all black belly basket when I stumbled upon the Roan Iris website! I initially ordered two, praying that the beautiful basket depicted online would soon be mine. Well? I can't sing your praises high enough! The baskets arrived quickly, they are large & beautifully hand woven, the color is saturated, and the brown leather handles? Chef's kiss! I ordered three more! My orchids look stunning tucked into these gems! Thank you for an ahhh-mazing shopping experience!
